Dr. Jennifer Walden, an aesthetic plastic surgeon who serves patients out of both Texas and New York, is one of the best plastic surgeons in America, according to a national survey released June 4, 2023, by Newsweek magazine.
Newsweek surveyed more than 2,000 other surgeons and medical providers about who America’s best plastic surgeons truly are.
The media giant has done that survey every year now for about 5 years, and Dr. Walden has won a spot on its prestigious awards list for each of those 5 years.

Dr. Walden offers a complete range of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures, and specializes in surgeries of the face, breast and body, according to her practice’s website. She also owns and operates a med spa she founded in Tribeca, New York, called “Skintology.”
Dr. Walden is also a widely known and respected female figure in the industry of plastic surgery, where she recently served as the first female president of The Aesthetic Society, after 15 years of membership in it.
Best of the Best
Roughly 350 plastic surgeons made the cut as being the best plastic surgeons in America, according to Newsweek.
Female plastic surgeon and founder, entrepreneur and educator, Dr. Jennifer Walden, is one of less than 50 plastic surgeons who were voted as being the best in all 5 of those categories.
Dr. Walden was voted by her peers as being one of America’s best plastic surgeons for these procedures:
- Breast augmentation (Top 25)
- Eyelid surgery
- Liposuction (Top 20)
- Rhinoplasty
- Facelift (Top 30)
Some of the surgeons were voted the best in 1-2 surgical procedures, while others, like Dr. Walden, were voted the best in all 5 of the surgical procedures that votes were collected on: Breast augmentation, liposuction, eyelid surgery, nose jobs, and facelift surgery.
Board-Certified
Dr. Walden is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, an official board that’s widely considered to be the most prestigious and important certifying organization for plastic surgeons.
Board-certification is considered an important sign that a surgeon is well-trained and experienced enough in the procedures they offer.
While anybody who is legally licensed as a doctor can perform plastic surgery procedures, the board-certification in distinction sets actual plastic surgeons apart from others—say pediatricians, dentists, and general practitioners—who may never have actually trained to perform complicated surgical procedures.
